At ViewLine, we build next-generation Video Management System (VMS) platforms and proactive AI security analytics. Our hardware devices, enterprise dashboards, and cloud networks are designed with a deep commitment to physical security and data privacy. Throughout these policies, references to ViewLine, ViewLine VMS, and ViewLine AI refer to the same unified video security product suite. Additionally, FieldEye (including its dedicated services at fieldeye.in) is an affiliated brand and product family operated by the same corporate parent, and is covered under this unified Privacy Policy.
1. Data Processor & Controller Relationship
For corporate, commercial, and enterprise deployments, ViewLine operates as a Data Processor. Our customers (the deploying organizations) act as the Data Controllers. They define camera coverage, physical locations, storage schedules, retention policies, and user authorization structures. ViewLine processes video streams and system telemetry strictly based on our clients' configured rules.
2. Information We Collect and Process
- User Profiles: Authentication information required to access VMS consoles, including user names, administrative roles, corporate emails, and contact phone numbers.
- Device Diagnostics: Hardware logs, sensor temperatures, optical focal calibration parameters, network health telemetry, bandwidth rates, and firmware version identifiers.
- Analytics Snapshots & Metadata: Categorization metadata generated locally by our edge processors (e.g., detecting human shape or vehicle classification) to power smart search dashboards.
- Video Records: Live feeds and archived recordings managed locally on enterprise local area networks (LAN) or streamed to dedicated cloud locations based on active service level agreements.
3. Data Security Measures
ViewLine uses multi-layered protection patterns to secure footage and system records:
- Transmission Encryption: Secure socket pipelines force connection routing via TLS 1.3 protocols, locking out external network snooping.
- At-Rest Encryption: Cached data, system configurations, and video storage arrays use industry-standard AES-256 bit encryption algorithms.
- Access Controls: Fine-grained permissions allow organizations to configure role-based access controls, secured by Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
4. Retention and Deletion
Video data and event histories are automatically deleted from local and cloud storage based on the configuration retention periods defined by the customer. Telemetry files are retained only as long as necessary for platform optimization and diagnostic support.
